Generation Z, also known as Gen Z, Zoomers, iGen, or Centennials, is the demographic cohort succeeding Millennials and preceding Generation Alpha. This generation is composed of individuals born between 1997 and 2012. Generation Z is the first true digital native generation, having grown up with technology such as smartphones and social media being commonplace in their lives.

This generation is highly diverse in terms of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religion. They are more likely to identify as non-binary than previous generations and have a greater appreciation for diversity and inclusion. Gen Zers are often characterized by their entrepreneurial spirit and desire for self-expression. They are also more socially conscious than previous generations and have a strong interest in environmentalism and sustainability.

In terms of consumer behaviour, Gen Zers are highly tech-savvy and prefer to shop online rather than in physical stores. They value convenience over price when making purchases and tend to be more brand loyal than other generations. Additionally, they are more likely to research products before buying them online or in stores. Gen Zers also tend to be highly influenced by influencers on social media platforms when it comes to purchasing decisions.

When it comes to working habits, Gen Zers prioritize flexibility over job security when considering career options. They prefer jobs that allow them to work remotely or from home if possible due to their comfort with technology and digital communication tools such as video conferencing software. Additionally, they value collaboration over the competition when working with others on tasks or projects.
