The Product Status Account breaks down the current product status, by communicating information such as test results, current cost status and varying factors in product development. Generally, this documentation will come in the later stages of directing a project and helps the Project Manager and client stay on top of the iterative changes that a projects product may undergo. Normally, this document is used on larger projects, the Product Status Account is not always necessary,if the project and product are of a simple nature.
